new2theru Posted May 7, 2011 Share Posted May 7, 2011 When it comes to oil treatments is Lucas a good choice and ok to use in an 07 lgt to help with engine and turbo life? If not what kind of treatment or addative would be? I'm looking to purchase an 07 lgt with 50,000 miles and I'm trying to find out the best things to do to help her run strong and as long as possible. Does anyone have any recomendations? Also what is the best brand of tranny fluid to use in the 5 speed auto, and oil for the diffs? I'm new to Subaru and this car and want to make sure that I do everything right to make this probable purchase last. Any and all help or suggestions with this is much appreciated. underground000 Posted May 7, 2011 Share Posted May 7, 2011 Rotella T6 is one if not the best oil to use, no oil additives needed I like Amsoil for the transmission, and planning on using Amsoil for the gears.
