BrownBoy Posted May 28, 2005 Share Posted May 28, 2005 thats b/c as the engine gets broken in, everything starts working more efficiently or something(I only have bout 3400 miles on the odo.)...it'll go down after you have a LOT of miles on the car. My 92 w/ 158kish miles is starting to decline in mileage. Back when my dad used to drive it, he used to push 30 miles per gallon on every tank... rts Posted June 3, 2005 Share Posted June 3, 2005 My car only has about 2500 miles on it. About half city, half highway miles. I kept trip meter "B" set from day one, overall average so far 27.5. My GT has been getting 21mpg (it used to get 17.7-18.6), even with some beastly action goin on, lots of city driving, and a little ocasional drive on the freeway...
