OGHK87Jay
Hello can anyone tell me if the Megan Racing MR-SSH-SI02 Subaru Exhaust Header fit on my 08 lgt 5eat?
TRSCobra
AFAIK, the only differences between 5eat cars and the 5/6mt cars is the downpipe, so it should fit.
OGHK87Jay
Sweet deal but on the two sites of one seller selling it says wont fit automatics and then on the other it doesn't say anything so had to double check before i purchase
TRSCobra
The only issue I could see would be clearance for the transmission cooler lines, but I've never worked on a 5eat LGT, so I'm just speculating.

BAC5.2
There is a distinct difference between "should fit" and "does fit". You get what you pay for. If you buy something thats cheap and low quality, don't be surprised when it doesnt fit well. m sprank
Do a search. Megan has a history of ill fitting and poor performing products. Notice no vendors on the forum pushing them? I was recently told that things were changing at Megan. Then that member/vendor never received their parts. So...
OGHK87Jay
Thanks for the warning guys I read that in the reviews too and not going to take the risk. Looks Like ill be getting agency power headers or wbr EL headers.
m sprank
Both of those are nice. For the price I really like the GTSpec. Insane welds, made in same factory as Tomei and is same design. Even comes with very nice uppipe and great gaskets as a package for less than most headers.

m sprank
But Tomei cost twice what GTSpec does. Funny because they are identical. Tomei comes with a roll of wrap, only difference. I have both side by side at the shop now because J brought in Tomei and I stock GTSpec, LOL.
TRSCobra
If i could do it all again, I'd go with the gt spec instead of the perrins that i have. They're both el and the gt spec seem to have fewer issues leaking at the slip joints. IMO, there's no reason to get headers unless you go with equal lenght. OGHK87Jay
I'm all for EL headers ive been reading that UEL doesn't give you much performance/power increase anyways so yea EL all the way
