TRSCobra
I just had my front O2 sensor out to get my perrin header welded, once I put it all together, I get the p0031 bank 1 sensor 1 heater circuit code, but only when I first start the car up in the morning. I had to twist the wiring a bit when I removed and reinstalled the sensor, but I made sure it didn't get twisted too badly. I also twisted it the opposite way before I tightened it down so the wires are sitting straight. I know the wiring is probably damaged, but why do I only get this code only on the morning startup? TRSCobra
I forgot to mention that the O2 sensor is only about 6 months old!
babybluelgt
Check to see if you're getting power at the plug. If you are, just replace the sensor. My guess about it only happening from warmup is because o2 sensors work best when warmed up, and yours probably isn't until the car is already at operating temp.
