Or if I decide to go with 8.5+38 how flush will I be. I've been searching the form and looking at pics but can't seem to get a answer. add in... I'll be on coilovers. Drift Motion Posted April 15, 2011 Share Posted April 15, 2011 if you want to be flush, you will need to roll your fender doesn't matter what size you want to get if your fender are not touched, the fitment is not flush. I also have my car lowered an 1 ince all the way around the car they are tein springs. I also have 12w7 jl and 2 slash amp 1000/1 and 4/450 and the box weight a ton.. I have 18x8.5 +44 Rota Grids with 225 tires (which come out right to the fender), lowered on BC coilovers (about 2" front and 1.5" rear drop), and I didnt need to roll any fenders. I did remove the rubber liner from the inside of the rear fenders however, and it gave me just enough clearance. joeblow Posted April 15, 2011 Share Posted April 15, 2011 With either of those offsets, you'll have to roll the fenders and possibly play with the camber settings. I'm running and 18x8.5 +48 with a 1"drop and there is just enough room for everything both on the inside of the wheel (tire to spring perch is only about a finger's width) and the outside (tire to fender doesn't leave much room either). If you wanna tuck tire on a 9 wide with anywhere from +38 to +30 you are rolling/pulling fenders and having at a minimum 2 degrees worth of camber. Its all height dependent being high off the ground like that car above with the grids takes little work, if you wanna be dumped.... that takes some doing. Also, dont go 8.5 wide with a +30 something offset if you want to flush out your car. That in my humble opinion is half assing it. "I for one do not doubt you, dude. Habitual Line Stepper Posted April 15, 2011 Share Posted April 15, 2011 Alright OP it seems you basically want the same ride height i was at.... so in that case you will need/want to: Get something atleast 9in wide Offset will have to be +38 to +33 You will need to roll the rears and roll/ slight pull on the fronts Camber will be dependent on your offset but for the most part -2 degrees or more.
