gibbons98legacygt
I have a 2007 legacy gt and my friend has a 2003 wrx with full 2004 sti brakes on it. Hes going to sell it and said for a little cash he would be willing to swap my brakes for his. Has anyone put lgt brakes on a wrx or know what all we will need to do. I know the fronts will swap over but im not sure what i got to do about the backs?
Chameleon
Not sure either how the rears will work out. Your best bet is to buy some used WRX calipers from the many guys/gals swapping in brembos and put those on your friends rear.
wpmarky
If the STI brakes are on his WRX, it's ready to be swapped over to your 07 LGT. He would've needed the bracket & adapter for the rear brembos on the WRX, so as long as you're getting all the pieces he used to install on his car, it'll install on your car. LGT front & rear brakes are an upgrade for WRX's, and are a direct bolt on.
