Im almost done with my CR500 tard rebuild. I am picking graphics.

 

basically the bike will be black and shiny/chrome with a red frame and a few white accents

the bike has a polished aluminum swingarm

frame, subframe, tripple tree clamps powdercoated fire engine red

pegs powder coated wrinkle black

pro circuit exhaust system

black gripper seat cover

black plastics

gold forks

black airbox

black fuego dual 4 inch race lights with black lens covers

black oversized tank

polished excell talagaso 17s

Not into the whole graphic thing so no usable reply from me ... first one I guess

 

yeah sucks the one run my friend was smart enough to stand in the right spot there was a car infront of me and i was decelerating before I passed it. serves them right for putting it right across from my house

really jealous of that supermoto. I always dreamed of having a mint cr500 w/ aluminum frame and throwing it on the street. You are one lucky man and that is a really sweet bike you go there.

 

thanks. after I sold my quadzilla I missed the big bore 2 stroke ride and decided to build a motard this time around. still miss the zilla though

I'd have to say the Iron Maiden graphics since I enjoy their music and they have great album cover art.

 

The motorhead stuff would be much better if we were talking the real Motorhead band cover art. The Orgasmatron album cover would be awesome on a bike.

I like the Iron Maiden ones a lot too. part of me wants the motorhead mandy, well, because i'm me and it has chicks on it. the other part wants the maiden or sculls or something. the caddie star symbol one is low on the list...

thats off the graphics website I have a steelie CR500 frame not an aluminum conversion. its a 1990 frame with a 1991+ subframe, airbox, and seat. total investment probably north of 4 grand

good stuff, and not a bad investment for some serious neck-jerking fun. I would like to eventually grab an 03-05 aluminum frame and do the conversion, its just a matter or time. With reference to your plastics selection, i would recommend a black style body, and if you can, upgraded red ( or painted red) excel wheels, really looks clean and sleeper, and people may still know its a honda

Skulls look stupid on anything, and a scantily clad woman screams "I'm a teenager, but I'm tough and cool because I have a scantily clad woman on my plastics". The Iron Maiden one, well, would you be that guy who goes to a concert wearing the t-shirt of the band whose concert you are going to see? Flames also look stupid, and double neagtive points for flames AND skulls.

 

The first one is the only option.

yeah not painting the rims. they are already polished. Im not really going for a sleeper.. its a 500cc 2 stroke bike with street tires on the road. who am I sleeping from :lol:

lol, good point, i just love the way a red lip on the wheel accents a black bike, but to each his own. Either way, id take what you got any day. And i didnt really mean sleeper, i was referring to a more clean and flush look,rather than the Skulls and other designs. The attached pic shows something of what im talking about, with room for customization.

A pure adrenaline rush.

 

And color and decoration... That's optional on a bike like that. You can have the teletubbies or smurfs on it and it will still be bada$$.
