scott6058
New to this forum but I have a code 35 which leads me to believe this may be the problem. What does anyone else know. Intermitent misfire while driving like running on two cylinders lousy idle also. Where is this canister purge valve located? Thanks for any help. best regards Scott
subikid90
It is either on your passenger side strut tower or under the intake manifold on the passenger side. I can't remember which on it is for sure, I am leaning towards the on under the intake manifold. It will have a 2 vacuum lines, and one will go to the purge canister. -Subikid90 1997 Legacy GT 5spd & EJ251 w/EJ25D heads ~10.5CR 1998 Legacy GT Limited waiting for EJ22T hybrid swap

sqc151
its a common problem. google the part location and it will pin point it for you. also, since its under the intake manifold on the passenger side. remount it on top of the manifold with the screw that holds the wire holder. this will make it easier to replace again. make sure you remember which vacuum line goes where.
