rock2534
I should state that this is is regarding my wifes Tribeca, not the legacy. Been having an issue with a somewhat subtle noise occuring when going over bumps. The suspension feels normal, however I hear a slight "rattling" sound. Nothing too crazy, just as if something is loose. I have no real knowledge of the suspension system on these vehicles but was wondering if anyone had ever run into something like this before. The only things that came to mind was shocks or struts.
ShrinerMonkey
Most likely a heat shield if it is a tiny metalic sound, otherwise could be the sway bar bushings which make noise which is normal and not something that can or has to be fixed. longislander1
I had a distinct metal rattle and the mechanic found a piece of gravel that had been kicked up and lodged in the suspension.
