LzyKid4Life Posted May 23, 2005 Share Posted May 23, 2005 Does any one's radiator fan seem louder then normal...after a while?? and does the intake silencer removal make the fan louder... dont remeber if i had this "problem" when i had it out last time....only one fan runs, dont know if thats the problem... hoping you guys have an answer or a conlusion to this "problem" of mine... oh and I took off my bumper to clear the headlights... so dont know if i could have unplugged something??? The second fan only runs when the AC compressor is on, or the car is starting to overheat. intake silencer has nothing to do with fans. Throttlejockey Posted May 23, 2005 Share Posted May 23, 2005 Turn off the AC before you start the car in the morning and see if the fan shuts off. If it doesn't you have the dreaded cooling fan problem.
