scottyjneilson
those AVO cans are nice man. just so pricey 700 bones. You can get a magnaflow catback for that !
mikew1484
Yes, $700 is a shat ton for them! - Wonder if I could score some used ones for 1/2 the price or something... I'll have to keep my eyes peeled.
spongemonster
I don't see why oiling the Perrin is a problem. I just tossed one in last night to replace my K&N and my only complaint is it made the intake quieter. I have zero issues with oiling, in fact I prefer oiling foam filters to cotton gauze. I've been dirt biking most of my life so foam filter maintenance is nothing new. I know that I've oiled a foam filter thoroughly without over oiling it. With a cotton gauze filter it always seems I never quite get it dry enough and I always have fears the oil hasn't saturated or has over saturated the filter material. It's all personal preference, I think the Perrin is a cool bit of kit and it's even slightly easier to install. (Edited to remove brain fart, I have the Perrin, I had AVO on the mind haha)
scottyjneilson
^ Why would you oil the AVO? it does not require it...
Chappy514
Just picked up an 03 Legacy L wagon. I don't see an option for this year on the EVO site. Any ideas on which one will work? This motor does seem to be starved for air.
CTATV
AEM Cold Air Intake is the best intake for the LGT but no intake will make a difference until you are pushing higher power and most likely on a bigger than stock turbo. stock intake with AVO drop in panel filter is all you need
