lucas112
do i need to connect the 2 green connectors and follow all the steps i did when i first flashed stage 1? or can i just turn the key to the on position and hit uninstall?
HDTurbo
"unmarry"=uninstall With the AP hooked up to the OBD-2 cable, select uninstall on the AP and follow the instructions, which include connecting the green test mode connectors so the AP can flash your saved stock map back to the ECU. After its done flashing the stock map to your ECU, it will tell you to disconnect the green test mode connectors and then turn the ignition key to off. If you have any concerns that your battery is low, hook up a charger. I swap my AP between two LGTs and have done this dozens of times.
lucas112
Thank you very much! I uninstalled it, but now I have a check engine light and my cruise control light flashes. Do you know what this could be?
COBB Tuning
Even with the AccessPORT uninstalled you can read that code. The cruise control is disabled whenever you have a check engine light. Do you have any modifications on the car like an aftermarket downpipe? Travis COBB Tuning
lucas112
yep, i have an aftermarket downpipe, uppipe, and catback. but i never had the code when i was stage 1.
HDTurbo
My LGTs are Stage 2 mechanically, but I don't get CELs when the AP is uninstalled and I'm back to stock ECU maps. But, I also do not drive the cars with Stage 2 parts and stock map. Why are you going back to a stock map? Seems like you ought to just go to Stage 2:)
lucas112
sadly i am selling my car and i cant do that with a check engine light. My accessport says it has something to do with the cat, which im sure is because of my uppipe and downpipe, but if i clear the code why does it come back? goneskiian
You'll keep getting the code until you put the stock exhaust back on. You're missing cats and the ECU can tell. Sell the car with the AP.
lucas112
if i go back to stage 1 will the check engine light still come on?
