GotTurboWut
Bought a pair...took to shop this morning and guy at Bayne's in Winchester, VA says he can't do it. Took me into the shop when the lgt was up on the rack...said b/c the mufflers are too long and center inlet, he can't get the bend into the inlet. The rsb bracket is in the way...So, how did you guys with these magnaflow's get it to fit? The 14827 isn't offered as an offset inlet. The only thing the guy at the shop said was to find a magnaflow muffler that's 16-18" overall length for it to fit. HELP!!?
rock2534
Check out this thread...states you need the 11225's. Diagram shows it has an 18 inch span. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/part-number-magnaflow-mufflersi-133229.html

GotTurboWut
That's what I'm saying...I was so shocked when he said they wouldn't work. Thanks for the reassurance that I'm not crazy and that 14827's will work.

GotTurboWut
Just had to find a "good" exhaust shop. Found a guy new Harrisonburg with his own little shop. He finished in an hour, nice welds, great price and the 'flows sound awesome. Sound clip hopefully soon. In the meantime, a few cell phone pics. blk mk8
nice job i paid extra to make it fit with stock pipes so i could put the stock mufflers back on for warranty work.
GotTurboWut
Warranty, what's that? J/k bro. I still have mine and could be cut and welded back on. I might do whenever I decide to sell it but no plans of that.
rock2534
Looks good. I don't think you would need to put the stock cans back on just to have warranty work..I never did.
blk mk8
I was not sure how bad they are at the dealership down here so I was kinda worried. With my sisters wrx it never broke any stock parts except the motor after 80k with a gt30r turbo.
