I didn't mean the strut top nuts (the 3 in the engine bay), but that's a good point. Those unfamiliar might not know about the 14.7ft-lb limit on those studs. I was talking about the nut that holds the hat to the strut. If that is loose, you'll get one hell of a clunk. It'll sound like your car is going to fall apart. AZP Installs Posted March 15, 2011 Share Posted March 15, 2011 If you are getting strut bind, my initial thought would be that you may have forgotten to re-install the conical washer or placed it in the incorrect order or flipped it over by accident when you re-assembled the struts. -mike Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
