I know it has changed alot since i was last there (1993) and i have a few questions. Are there any decent Subie shops there? Whats the cost of living like there now? Whats Ft.Gordon like now? bjmsdrum00 Posted May 23, 2005 Share Posted May 23, 2005 i was in agusta training at Ft. Gordon last year from march-july. cost of living is still pretty cheap, and Ft. Gordon itself i dont imagine is much different than 10 years ago. they have been doing some construction, but its still nothin like an Air Force Base i didn't have any luck finding a subie shop down there, but i didn't have much time to look really, i was pipeline and had to live in the dorms and clean and march around and stuff, it was wonderfull. agusta has grown alot, there's all kinds of new stores and stip malls and stuff, its not too bad. good luck with everything.
