Power seats not working

Recommended Posts

So what was broken here? The wire had a connector inside the insulation what has been gone bad.

I won't think it could be possible to get any water there, but the copper had turn into a green dust. The place where mine was broken was nearby that floor vent.

Now i get healthy 12.2 Volts there instead of 0 Volts or 8-9Volts

Check your grounding wire first (black one in the connector) against the ground with ohm meter, then measure the plus power cord (white with green line) on mine.

Strip a little from a bad wire and replace it with a fresh one, then enjoy solving this.

I believe this has been a callback in states around 2005 or something..

Well you found your activity for the tomorrow also, i believe the same circuit is at passengers side, i discovered this late yesterday night ;) Haven't rip any insulations of the wires off, but with a voltage meter it says 0,0Volts. So same problem i believe.
