Rubbing sound

Check your lug nuts. If your lug nuts aren't tight then you'll get that sound. You'll get it more than just cornering though. Also check the inside of the wheel well for rub marks. Are you using the stock wheels and tires or have you put bigger wheels on?

jim malach,

You said you had a wheel bearing replaced. Did they get the CV boot back on correctly? I've actually had a CV boot that was not properly attached at the CV joint side and it rubbed/scrubbed around the periphery of the CV joint face until it was replaced. Also, it's possible they over- or under-tigtened the bearing and it's grinding in it's races. Did they reattach the inside fender skirt correctly and/or is possibly rubbing on the axle, wheel area?

WRT - wheel lug nut torque specs, check out this link http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12613. You'll find the answer... believe about 80-85 lb ft of torque... which seems high but not overly so since all of my other Subes are in the 72-75 lb ft range.

Just a couple of thoughts.
