I had purchased a lot from a member on here and I just wanted to ask some questions hoping some of you can help. I wasn't sure if I should put it on the door skin so its easier to work on the doors if a window needs to be replaced or something along those lines. Also where should i put it in the trunk? Just the floor or the sides of the trunk and top of the trunk as well? I replaced my whole system and it rattles like crazy, even the spoiler. So any advice would be great. CLD) put them on bare metal surfaces (at least 25% at the center of the panel to full coverage depends on the location and shape of the metal, and size of your wallet). If you gonna put Mass Loaded Vinyl materials, then a full coverage would be the best. btw, I am waiting for the weather to warm up too so I can start my sound deadening project. Another thing you can do is to do a search on similar projects done by other people and see how they applied (for example Dynamat) to their doors, this way you get the idea.
