xlur8ed
2009 Legacy SE - I have used the good ol search button multiple time with different variances to my wording with no luck. I have come across some posts where people have struggled with the manual climate controls and messing up some of the o rings and cables on the manual controls. My question is if removing the cables is necessary? Is there enough slack to pull the entire assembly out, remove the screws from the manual HVAC and then simply reattach to the plates with the new stereo, or is it necessary to disconnect the cables from the manual controls? I have the Scosche panel, and just awaiting my deck to arrive in the mail, but the instructions on the Scosche unit don't explain any part of the manual hvac situation. Any help is greatly appreciated!
