phildog33
Hey just wanted to double check I set this up correctly. Im using a MAP3 sensor, taped into the BOV tube.. and that sensor is connected to an Innovate SSI-4 so I can read boost off my VF52 turbo in my stage 3 suby. Just wanted to attach this pic, to see if I set up the voltage swing from 0-5V on the 3 bar map to read -14.7 to 29.4 PSI. IS that right? http://phillipangert.com/dropbox/SSI4.jpg
m sprank
What does the cut sheet form the manufacturer say? You should have data from them to set up scaling.
phildog33
Does anyone know if that scale above is right for the 0-5V on the MAP3 sensor from innovate? p
m sprank
Can not tell you without some data. You should have some data supplied with the sensor to assist in calculating offset and multi. I am unfamiliar with the SSI-4. Not sure why you are using it. I thought it was a logging device.
NSFW
If nobody knows the answer you can figure it out for yourself... Buy or borrow a Tactrix cable, and log boost from the car and from this thing simultaneously. If the numbers agree, you've got it right. If they don't, tweak the settings until they do.
