youngsubu
Those of you that live in apartments that don't have a hook-up for a hose, how do you wash your cars?
fbi012
sometimes I go to my friend's where he has a garage, but most of the time I just take it to a manual car wash, costs about 10 bux but its worth it if you have no other choice.
OCDetails
Sometimes you can find a car wash with a bay that is out of service. Fill a bucket with soapy water and you can do a normal bucket wash. Just watch out for the scrub brush things if you do use the full deal. Those are death to you paint. Even if you spray it off it won't do the trick because they still hold the grease and grit from a million dirty dump trucks before. Avoid those brushes on the fragile Legacy paint. _________________________________________ “Cleanliness becomes more important as godliness becomes more unlikely.” O C D E T A I L S . S4
I use Quick & Easy Wash. I was a bit skeptical at first, but it does a great job, you'll get a spot-free wash when you're done, and it doesn't swirl the paint. I use two mits and two buckets. If you were to use just one mit and one bucket, you'd have to be a bit more careful with how dirty your mit is. See this thread for me details on how to do it: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10068 The first time I used this stuff I "tested" it on my wife's escort which hadn't been washed in a couple months and it did a great job! Give it a shot, you'll save money over the many many quarters you're pumping into the do-it-yourself places.
