ripcurl Posted February 3, 2011 Share Posted February 3, 2011 I'm planning on ordering the Hella horns kits from Subimods, and thought of grabbing the HID kit at the same time (to save on shipping - its expensive to ship to Canada!). Does anyone have experience with this kit? For $75, it looks like a good deal. The only question I have is where do you mount the ballast boxes? mr.hicksta Posted April 10, 2012 Share Posted April 10, 2012 I had the SubiMods 6k kit for awhile and it's not too bad. I did like the thin ballasts in the kit. These pics show how my TRS ballasts are installed. Once you have the mounting clip secured on the ballast, loosen the middle bolt (the black bolt in the pictures), put each ballast in and tighten everything down once you're done.
