Baddog
They have been sitting in his house for awhile. I am not exactly sure what it is but it looks like some rust. These have never been used. Or would just doing the bead in procedure clear this up? http://i830.photobucket.com/albums/zz223/Baddog909/IMG00558-20110131-1736.jpg
subikid90
They are brand new? Take steel wool to them unless it is deep then they need to be turned. -Subikid90 1997 Legacy GT 5spd & EJ251 w/EJ25D heads ~10.5CR 1998 Legacy GT Limited waiting for EJ22T hybrid swap
Baddog
Yeah he took them out of the box and they were stored in his living room. I think he had them on his balcony for a few days when it had rained. I tried cleaning it with brake cleaner. And if I got it turned. They all would need to be done right? Just checked they feel fine. Even feels smooth.
subikid90
No they dont have to be even, your caliper will adjust after a day or so. -Subikid90 1997 Legacy GT 5spd & EJ251 w/EJ25D heads ~10.5CR 1998 Legacy GT Limited waiting for EJ22T hybrid swap
Baddog
Awesome. I will try steel wool. But they dont feel rough maybe something just had gotten onto them and changed the color of the metal.
subikid90
When you have steel and it sees any moisture it will have surface rust -Subikid90 1997 Legacy GT 5spd & EJ251 w/EJ25D heads ~10.5CR 1998 Legacy GT Limited waiting for EJ22T hybrid swap
