Bimmer Posted January 29, 2011 Share Posted January 29, 2011 Hi all, My '08 Outback XThttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/mag-glass_10x10.gif still has over a year on it's 5-year powertrain warranty, but I worry about the turbo fragging after then. I just looked at the "2008 Warranty and Maintenance" booklet that came with the car, and I did some poking around on the web. It looks to me like the "California Emission Extended Defect Warranty" runs 7 years/70,000 miles, maybe even 8 years/100,000 miles. Best of all, the "parts covered" list includes the "turbo assembly"! Can this be correct? Is my turbo covered for 8 years/100,000 miles?! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
