dride24
On several occasions, I have drained my battery by leaving a map light (overhead up by the sun visors) on. I wonder whether anyone has been able to wire these into an available ignition controlled power source like the autodimming mirror or the vanity mirror light on the visor. AkumaMax
you could do that. Just run a (+) wire to the lights and run it to the ignition or accesory spots under your dash. You must cut the constant power from the lights first. The problem with this is that they will be useless without power unless wired into a relay and switch. David E
If you have a sunroof the power is only on to it when the ignition is on.
BAC5.2
If you have a sunroof the power is only on to it when the ignition is on. No it's not. I can turn my maplights on anytime I want. David E
That's right. Just finished today tapping the sunroof wires to power an autodimming mirror for my SVX.
