GetShacked808
Took my LGT in to get head unit and wheel bearing replaced under warranty. Was in the hospital for a few days so I could not pick my car up test drive right away when I finally got home and first drove my car I new they had reflashed it. Pulled an LV of my car my IAM was .43:eek:, reflashed right away to my proper map and car is back to norm. Is this normal for a stereo/ac swap or are they just ******* with me. ehsnils
Might be a service bulletin specifying that it shall be done to cars coming in with a certain version.
05_2.5
would they disconnect the battery when changing the radio?
BAC5.2
would they disconnect the battery when changing the radio? ECU maps are stored in non-volitile memory. They don't get erased when disconnecting the battery. What worries me is, how hard did they drive the car after they reflashed it... GetShacked808
They did not disconnect battery as my seatbelt hack still works. I am also worried about how they drove my car after as my IAM was.43 when I was finally able to check my car. I dont understand the need to reflash for the stereo its been bothering me the last few days.
