izdizef Posted January 24, 2011 Share Posted January 24, 2011 im trying to take off the dash on my BK legacy. i thought it would be easy enough to do so i just started taking out bolts. dropped the steering column, unplugged a few connectors. so as it now stands it seems like i have most everything out but when i try to remove the dash it feels like it is getting caught on one or two bolts up around the passenger airbag area. so i consulted the service manual. im attaching the diagram. my question is this. do i have to remove the passenger airbag cover to get at the three bolts in that area? i circled it and put a '?' next to the three. http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m201/jbw262/11111.jpg Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

izdizef Posted January 24, 2011 Author Share Posted January 24, 2011 yes I did i am almost certain that it is getting caught on one or all of the bolts that I circled and I cant seem to figure out how to remove them. when i try and lift the dash it feels loose but not in that one point. the airbag cover on the passenger side seems to stay planted. subikid90 Posted January 25, 2011 Share Posted January 25, 2011 Disconnect your battery and let it sit for a while, then remove your passenger airbag and see if the screws are there.
