NormanAbsher
Im going to be powder coating my wheel here in about a week.. I'm kinda undecided at what color for the wheels.. I wanna go flat blk but looking at my car the tint is throwing me off and making me wanna go with a gloss... Help.. The car currently has a gloss blk grill but can easily be painted and when I decide on the color I'll be painting the fog covers also.. Here is a picture of the car... Please no smart ass comments I'm totally not in the mood http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q248/normielove/90acdede.jpg
mk6933
Why waste your money powder coating your stock wheels? Why not add a few hundred more and get yourself some rims.

mk6933
Well, I understand that, but there is a walkthrough on how to paint your rims. Don't waste 200+ powder coating your stock rims. Not worth it
NormanAbsher
Lol a walk through on how to paint.. Hmm seems hard.. Step one remove or tape off tire Step two paint rim desired color Step three remove tape or put wheel back on Step four put when back on car Step five repeat steps one-four everytime your wheels chip There is your walk through? Drift Motion
nah...just grab a can of flat back paint and just start spraying no removing the tires/wheel necessary jk if you do good prep work it will hold up http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/2/4847/1961/24615980070_large.jpg

Dutch Eagle
I had my 18" ones powdercoated in silver metalic, and they are as new. If I were you, I'd go for antracit/graphite metalic coulour, is thé colour on a silver car imo.

.blackgt.
I vote for flat black.... Ever contemplate crinkle black? Someone did some STI wheels a while ago and they came out nice. DansSpace
Flat black just looks like dirty gloss black. Go with the gloss!
peteyjr
Go gloss, I painted my track wheels flat black and later chnged it to gloss black (which I liked better) . I agrees that anthracite looks better
