H/K Outback sub

I know people have been having problems blowing the H/K sub in the Legacy, but I was wondering how the one in the Outback is holding up?

 

I have a stealthbox and an infinity sub but I don't like how much space it takes up. The factory Outback sub sits flush with the cargo area wall.

 

I don't need booming bass that rattles the car apart, I just want some decent bottom-end not provided by the door speakers. Is the Outback H/K sub decent or junk?

 

I'd be running it from an Alpine PDX5.
