wrxwhit
you don't have a secret paypal account swmbo doesn't know about? i thought everyone had one. Funny you mention this. I have been using paypal quite a bit in parting out my WRX and have been using very small amounts after I have ran out of play money. The rest of money goes right into LGT's car payment. For example, had to buy some Dorman TPMS sensors today from Rock Auto at only $35 if anyone is intereseted. Pretty cheap for a good sensor, but used car part out money for that since I ran out of play money on the new Summer wheels LOL.
Darksabre
Did you realize this on your own or by an outside source. The reason for my question is that I was dead set on plasti dipping everything chrome. I told my wife that I was doing this and she immediately disagreed and yelled at me. I actually agree by plasti dipping out RRP may infact take the class out of the car. Its actually a very classy look on this color now that I think about it. I even photoshopped it which didn't come out to good but immediatley agreed with the wife which rarely ever happens when it comes to car stuff. The grill in RRP wouldk be a nice touch. Not sure if the wife agrees here. We shall see......  Here, let me help you with that: http://img267.imageshack.us/img267/6895/20120222122435.jpg

IllogicalBeetle
Man that looks sharp and mean. I think if I go RRP I will be looking to plastidip the chrome grille trim. Did you do the same with the window chrome trim, Darksabre?

Did you do the same with the window chrome trim, Darksabre? Thanks! I put a lot of work into it. I would love to get the chrome out of the side trim pieces, but I haven't had the time yet. I also haven't decided if I want to use plasti-dip, or have it covered in dark vinyl.

Came out great with full coverage front/back.
HoosierDaddy2
Did you realize this on your own or by an outside source.   I came to my own conclusion while giving the car its initial wash and wax. I normally dislike chrome , except for maybe a few small accent peices ... go figure I told her about the body colored grill outline with the wings removed , then later I showed her the pic near the beginning of the thread and she agree'd that it looked badass.  Now to find a grill that will fit perfectly and look good , it's her car , she's of German decent and will put up nothing less than a perfect look .... and showing her the back of my hand , LOL , yeah right , I have to sleep sometime ... Did you find any write-up or manual reference for removing it, or was it pretty self-explanatory?

wrxwhit
Put on the new Summer set-up today. Hopefully it doesn't snow! Center caps missing in pics. Putting overlays on center caps tonight then pics to follow. Conservative classy look and not murdered like my last car. You never know what your gonna get until you put them on. All in all pretty happy.http://img.tapatalk.com/c6e4c30a-1a19-2cf9.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/c6e4c30a-1a27-0029.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/c6e4c30a-1a38-02af.jpg
