Strabismo Posted January 13, 2011 Share Posted January 13, 2011 Attention to all software developers out there: If your software does at least one of the following: Automatically create a new shortcut to itself on the desktop every time it gets an update;After installing an update requiring a reboot, will periodically display an annoying dialog box "reminding" you to reboot giving you only two options: Reboot or "postpone the reminder for >insert ridiculously short period of time here<";During the installation, tries to sneak in some Internet browser "toolbar";Leaves an icon in the tray and does not give you the option to hide the icon.By default will launch itself at startup and will constantly run in the background even though it is a program that a normal user might use once a week;Is especially designed to be extremely difficult or impossible to uninstall without formatting the drive.
