Installing Aftermarket Electronics?

Hey guys,

 

I'm close to buying a 2005 Subaru Legacy 2.5i and I wanted to know if I could install my current MTX subwoofers into the stock head unit. If not how exactly do you go about installing an aftermarket head unit? I have one that has a sub out but its only single DIN.

if you have the non limited 2.5i

 

then you're in luck!

 

you can easily install the aftermarket HU

Short answer. For cars without the automatic dual zone climate, there's a simple dual DIN bracket piece. For cars with auto dual zone, its possible, but expensive and challenging.
