cb1504 Posted December 16, 2010 Share Posted December 16, 2010 Hi Guys, I'm not new to Subies. This is probably my 5th or 6th one. I have a 1992 Legacy Coupe. No Turbo, no AWD, no grill But NO OIL LEAKS! This thing runs like a little Subaru top! Starting it has been another issue. It's all stock except for the new alternator I put in last week. Question? ehsnils Posted December 17, 2010 Share Posted December 17, 2010 As the cables are underdimensioned (or at least always as cheap as the manufacturer can get away with) my opinion is to replace battery and alternator cables with as thick cables as you can get away with.
