Fnjeep314
I have an 05 OBXT that is Atlantic blue and silver 2 tone. I have the same wheels as in this picture. My wheels are a brighter silver and give the car a 3 color look to it. I dont really like it. I want to paint the wheels to matck the silver on the car, they would need to be the same color as in the picture. Can anyone help me? http://www.familycar.com/RoadTests/SubaruOutback/Images2005/LeftSide.jpg
KCwagon
You could go to the Auto parts store and found a color that sort of matched . OR You find the paint codes on your car, which I believe are on the door. There is a post somewhere that helps with this - just search. After you know the color or color code - go to paintscratch.com - It is one of the best places to order color matched paint that I have found. Fnjeep314
My plan is to just find something close at the autoparts store, but I didnt know if there was a particular named color to look for. I was looking at a gun metal rattlecan color and it just looked too dark.
KCwagon
Its kind of difficult to really know what the color will look like based on the cap of the spray can. The only way to know is to see the real paint outdoors. You might get a can of what you think would be best, spray it on something smooth and look at it outdoors next to your car. It might be worth the $5 and get it right the first time. Just my .
