amorgan93 Posted December 3, 2010 Share Posted December 3, 2010 1990 legacy wagon fwd showing code 11 which is crank angle sensor. doesnt make sense the car would even run if the crank angle sensor is bad. It idles fine when cold, but after warming up it idle surges and will eventually die. also when i rev past 3000 rpm the exhaust will suddenly change sound and make a sputtering sound instead of the regular sound, and the motor will just die and wont crank back for a couple minutes. already tried cleaning IAC valve. this sensor is $270 for my car, and is $27 for a 1996 legacy with the same motor.... can i use the sensor from a 96 in a 90 ej22?
