My Car
im replacing burnt out bulbs on my instrument panel in my 94 legacy wagon and i noticed that there are warning lights like ABS and AT oil temp that dont even have bulbs there to light them up and it looks like there were never any bulbs there to begin with. so do i need to buy new ones? the warning labels without lights are: ABS AT OIL TEMP STOP LAMP so did a previous owner remove these or does the 94 not even need these lights? ABS - does your car have abs brakes? probably not but look behind the passenger headlight to see if the abs unit is there. AT OIL TEMP - is your car an auto trans? if so does it have a ''manual'' or a ''power'' button on the shifter selector. before the AT Temp light they used a power light i think to indicate similar warnings. do you have a ''power'' light just before you start your car? STOP LAMP - i don't know. but not all bulbs slots are populated in all cars and the instrument cluster housing is used in multiple years. for instance, the 95s do not have bulbes lighting up P,R,N,D,1,2,3 on the dash even though the cluster housing has the spots available for the bulbs.
