I bought the motor and here is the story:

Just want to say because 2 guys didn't know what they had, I had to pay 1200 to fix this motor to make it correct.

2900 shipped for motor

1200 in parts a labor to fix it

-400 credit for pistons from seller of PARTS on NASIOC

Total=3700

Pistons were for 2.0l heads, so I tore it apart and found a Rod that was too tight. Watt one of the best builders around in Texas replaced the bearings and pistons and reassembled.

The original seller of the parts from NASIOC gave me 400 for pistons and I sent him the ones I took out.

The seller of the motor in this thread did nothing, and I asked him for 400 as well.

Since the bill to fix it was 1200, I was going to eat 400, NASIOC member gave me 400, and I was trying to get 400 from seller goofylgt.

I felt that this would be fair where each party picked up some of the cost.

NO GO! JUST FYI

Im not going to give you $400, I sold the motor as is. Again is really childish that you bring this out publically and we could act as adults and keep it private. I literally dont ahve the money to give to you as ive told you I had a tree fall on my car that my insurance would not cover. So again keep this matter private, ive contacted the moderator already you have went to far.

Thanks

As is means as advertised.

"EJ257 Rallitek stage 2 shortblock - $3200 + shipping."

You did not advertise it as a hybrid motor made for 2.0L heads. Correct?

Am I being fair to say that 2 people sold this without knowing what it was?

One person paid for part of the fix, the OTHER DID NOT.

You are selling parts still, so you have some money.

I DID NOT HAVE THE MONEY TO FIX WHAT YOU SOLD ME..

I tried to keep it private and be fair about it.

I already contacted a moderator a month ago and told them what was going on.

You can't blame Ryan for everything he didn't know what he had either when he sold it to you but he has stepped up to the plate and paid for part of a bill I SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD.

I only told the truth of the matter and did not bash you at all above.

FACTS ARE FACTS.

YOU sold me a motor, that would have destroyed my heads and everything if I would not have figured it out before I stuck it in my car.

THE ONLY REASON RYAN WAS EVEN IN THIS IS BECAUSE I TRACKED HIM DOWN.

Pony up the 400 and be a man like Ryan so I don't have to EAT ALL OF THIS BILL.

Here is the original thread where you purchased the parts:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1993190&highlight=cobb+rods

"EJ257 Rallitek stage 2 shortblock - $3200 + shipping."

I AM ASKING FAIRLY FOR 1/3 THE COST OF YOU AND RYANS IGNORANCE WHEN YOU BOTH SOLD THIS STUFF.

He paid, I paid, you have ignored my requests.

So you are saying I should just eat the whole bill?
