Hyrdaulic Clutch ?

I have a 2010 LGT with 6sp MT. Curious if its OK to leave your foot on the clutch after engagement during times when you want to quickly shift or will this cause unnecessary wear? I am talking just a little pressure at the top of travel. There seems to be a lot of stroke left after engagement so I assume its fully locked up but not sure. Also, does a Hyd clutch adjust for wear?
