jbm Posted May 5, 2005 Share Posted May 5, 2005 I got my LGT Wagon just over a month ago and it needs a good cleaning and a first coat of wax. Does anyone in the San Diego area have good first hand experience with a reputable mobile detailer? I'm looking to spend roughly $40-60 for a good washing and hand waxing. My car has a lot of kamikaze insects on the bumper and the local car wash never gets them off, so I'm willing to get a mobile guy to come out. o- c-uTe Posted May 6, 2005 Share Posted May 6, 2005 I like to use Xtreme Mobile Detailing. I used them for my truck and they did a really good job. It came out new like when I first bought it 5 years ago; even the engine. But I spent $180 for the complete detailing. It was well worth it. I think they are in your price range too. I do a handwash then apply wax with a porter cable 7424 (random orbital polisher) If you'd like I can link you to pictures of my work this past weekend.
