Assuming 9 more guys indicate such a willingness between now and June 3rd, how will this work? Will you refund the money if all the deposits aren't in by say, June 10th? Or is the deposit fully at risk? And if you start after June 10th, about how long would you estimate for the whole process to take before CF hoods get delivered (after payment of the remaining balance, of course). iON Performance Posted May 6, 2005 Share Posted May 6, 2005 LandShark - To make it "accessible" to those interested, we'd probably allow 2 weeks time to collect the 10 serious people, so the "drop-dead" date would be June 15th that we'd require 10 confirmed people w/ deposits which are actually backing their status. To make sure everyone is minimized of risk, we won't start work on it until we do recieve these 10 deposits. And if we do not reach this target, then the funds would be returned to those who made deposits. Once a deposit has been made, the person will be committed to the hoods; and when the hoods are ready, the remaining balance will be required before the hoods will be shipped. There will be no refunds of deposits once the project starts. It will take ~ 2-3 days to do the aero testing based on a mock'd up model. Once all the flow characteristics have been analyzed the mould will be made from the finalized information. It takes ~ 7-10 solid days to perfect the mould to the final condition. Once that's done it generally takes 4-5 days per hood for production. Ofcourse all the skeleton structures are made first etc before both ends are encorporated and bonded together. [We have a working relationship with the institution]. When we do the testing we maybe able to snap some pics for you. LandShark - Sounds good. I guess we'll have to start a "list" for those who're going to commit. Since you're in Cali, shipping will take ~5 business days.
