Posted November 1, 2010 Share Posted November 1, 2010 Well I have a weird issue, it smells like my cars running pretty rich because it smells like gas alot, expecially on startup(just like my dads 4runner with a rusted cat.) I used a cheap obd2 reader and the C(catalytic) light was blinking, the O(oxygen sensor) and EGR light were blinking. I dont have any CEL codes whatsoever so what could this mean? I kind of hear a exhaust leak somewhere near the doughnut gasket near the midpipe or near the cats. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have checked out what it was and they are blinking because those systems have not been ran as to the trip drive cycle. After googling i saw that the way you make sure their ready is by driving over 50mph for 15 mins, and for 55mph for 3 mins. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
