Zac88
looking into getting a COBB APv2 and going stage 1. 05 LGT with 140,000km on it. All stock besides Cobb SF intake and STi Genome axle backs. Changed the plugs in April. Anything else I should do before? Also I have access to 94 octane fuel, can I run the 93 map without problems? RJS5689
Make sure the car is in good shape and is up on its maintenance. Other than that you're good to go! Stage 1 is an easy, simple flash and doesn't create complications. You'll be fine running 94, it should actually give you a little more protection against detonation, "knock." rice_rocket
Nada... also, being higher in altitude it is just safer to run high octane. Good 'ol esso and Canadian gas! I might suggest looking into custom mail in flashes since it might help to tailor for Alberta's climate.
Zac88
Will I need to upgrade my TMIC?
rice_rocket
No bother.. but it certainly won't hurt if you want to start upgrading Weather is better in Alberta than most of the states anyways.. it's cooler, and dryer. Too bad high altitude is going to hurt you. I was born and raised in Calgary.. and let's say moving to sea level made everything more powerful.. especially turbo cars! Zoom!
