torinalth
There is no other forum that made sense, so I'll put it here till a mod decides otherwise and moves. So, tried to start the car this morning and she wouldn't start, just crank repetedly. so, popped the hood to check the engine bay, and when I got out I heard liquid pouring out onto the driveway. It was not coming from the engine, but from the general vacinity of the fuel tank. it was pouring from the area just in front of the right rear tire. She is on an incline, so I can't get her into the garage to jack her up (too much to push solo) so question 1, I should be fine if I leave the E-brake on and keep her in gear when I jack up the rear right? 2 - since I cant get under there yet, do you have any thoughts on what probably let go? think its a fix, or part needing to be replaced? in case it is not gathered from my post, the fuel only comes out when cranking, didnt come out on FP priming or just sitting, but had to be cranking. thoughts? torinalth
thought I posted this in the power forum... anyhow, fixed it. dropped the pan, and nothing leaking there had to be coming from the top. pulled the pump and one of the lines coming from the pump had disconnected its self. all is well.
