And if they can't take it, they'll trash the car just for the fun of it. Those fancy pagers and all that I passed. You're going to run out mid-movie everytime because your car alarm is paging you? Too much hassle. If I had a car with 50k worth of stereo equipment and all sorts of show-level stuff, it's either going to be at a show or locked in a garage that's insured. As alarms go, on my old car I went with a Viper system that killed the starter and something else. It would still work even if the battery was plugged or unplugged. That's all I had.
