Installed Draw-Tite ClassIII hitch!

BAC5.2

Recommended Posts

Installed it yesterday after work.

I removed the mufflers, and the install took about 35 minutes or so from setup to cleanup, by myself.

Fitment is "meh". It doesn't hang as low as I was expecting, but it is obviously present.

Quality is pretty good, and everything lined up well. I have no idea why drawtite says it "excludes sport model" (which I assume is the XT), it fits fine with no rubbing or anything of the sort.

The d-ring shackle I got from Harbor Freight and is a part of my Winter Recovery package. I picked up a locking hitch pin today as well. I keep a 50' 2" double webbed tow-strap in the cargo hold, along with the receiver necks, a few tools, a flashlight, and a first-aid kit.
