Jeffzguy
I have heard some rumors that the 2.5 engine has issues and the 2.2 is the way to go in at least the 96+ subaru legacy outbacks, maybe all Subarus?
subikid90
The ej25d is a great engine if you dont boost it and replace the headgaskets. The ej22 cant take boost too well either but it is not known for headgasket failure. -Subikid90 1997 Legacy GT 5spd & EJ251 w/EJ25D heads ~10.5CR 1998 Legacy GT Limited waiting for EJ22T hybrid swap
