cd_legacy
I need to replace the factory exhaust and am considering an aftermarket system, my question is can I get away with this without an ECU upgrade because of lack $$$ for both..I have a 05 LGT and an AVO drop-in filter, AVO MAF hose and a resonator mod the rest is stock..Thank you for your help
rtbrjason
If you should be fine if you're talking about a catback. I wouldn't run a downpipe without a tune though.
Scooby Fan
I am running an AVO panel filter and full AVO CBE......runs and sounds great...no tune needed. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b375/RM-RS/AVOfull.jpg
dugan.wsu
I went with the Magnaflow CBE, easy install and no ECU. No issues, runs great!
peteyjr
You could run a bit lean with a higher flow filter.

rtbrjason
You could run a bit lean with a higher flow filter. You definitely will, but the stock tune is so rich that it should be well within the margins of safety.
