assfast Posted September 27, 2010 Share Posted September 27, 2010 hey guys i just bought a 1998 legacy gt 5 speed with 190000 on it, thing drives real strong, i bought it in cape cod then drove 4.5 hours to vermont and the next day back home to connecticut which is another 3 hours and there was no problems, im happy with the car and it seems like it is a good contender to swap with my 02 wrx engine(2.2t 120,000 miles). i plan on trying to get at around 300 whp out of the engine, what do you guys think i should do to the engine to get in the ballpark of that number but safely for my engine? will my tranny/drivetrain be ok with that much power? lmk what has worked for you guys thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
