dmanaenk
Trying to get my head around this LV pic. Engine is stock, running stock map, air filter is stock, changed this spring. Had a pristine LV pic a month ago or so. Went to Canada this weekend, missed an entrance to duty-free gas station and ended up pumping some Canadian 94 octane @Sunoco (there were two choices: 94 and 94 'with up to 10% ethanol', I picked first), which I suspect has plenty of ethanol anyway. Normally run 93 octane. Could this explain the trim D correction or do I have bigger issues? I though trim D should be with-in plus/minus 1%
keithk831
What I want to know is why your engine speed and load tables are all screwed up...
dmanaenk
^ stock map is that way.
Boostin1657615274
huh? there's nothing wrong with that LV. On a completely stock car trims can vary a lot and it doesn't matter. Heck, even on a modded car the trims can vary more than a lot of people say. They're supposed to vary. I checked the trims on my completely stock daily driver once (using a generic scantool) and the long term trim was +12%. Car drove fine. keep driving it. On the search for a new DD... keithk831
I'm not talking about those...I'm talking about the rpm and load ranges. The only tows that will even have data arethe first three because the rest go from 6000 to 12000 rpm. Same with the load...engine load up to 5? Something is off. Spec B
+1 Load ranges are crazy high. I adjusted mine via RR to peak at 3.5 g/rec, that does not looks stock.
Spec B
As far as the trim goes, they are not that bad. You want D to be less than 2%, but assuming you are stock, that LV looks good.
dmanaenk
Again, those are stock ranges for the timing correction cells. Why? Ask Subaru. Yes, I'm concerned about fuel trim D, but not as much as I was when I posted this, given that I confused leaning-out and running rich.
