tcoope13
So I have a cobb AP stage 1 91 octane map installed. I just bought I CAI and installed it, car seems to be running ok. I had a few stalls initially but the ECU seems to have calibrated itself. Just wondering about the Cobb AP map, it says its for stock intakes only and they don't have a map specifically for a stage 1 tune with CAI. Do you think this will damage my car running a stage 1 tune with CAI or will it be OK? FYI I'm at 4500ft above sea level if that makes any difference. subleg05gt
It will just air/fuel will just be a a little off. but i would look into getting a protune or e-tune with CAI in the near future tho. You mite as well get a downpipe when you have it tuned. Unleash those horses
docsmitty
I can tell you that I did this for a short time on my 08 wrx. Had a knock event and CEL, so I took off the CAI and no more problems.
moncur_6
There is a huge forum in exhaust/intake about running a CAI without a tune. Long story short, a Cobb runs an engine slightly rich unlike the SPT.
